The PV bulk purchase scheme run by e-Coton with Upbeat energy managed to beat the December 12th deadline for higher levels of Feed-in-Tariffs on PV (photo-voltaic) systems, installing 75 new systems in the area, including several in Dry Drayton. The argument about the government’s sudden decision to cut the FiT rate in half is still being challenged and there could be some better compromise in due course. Meanwhile, the same team have launched a new PV bulk purchase group which will run until the next FiT deadline of 31st March.
